NEW TO NEW YORK CITY, ERIK SCOTT ROMNEY MAKES HIS DEBUT AT THE GREEN ROOM 42

Step into the darker side of musical theatre, with a show that debuted on the West Coast, created by and starring Erik Scott Romney. It’s called “Broadway's Bad Guys!” and if you do the math you already know what it’s about. Romney's performance is tailor made for Broadway lovers, theatre fans, and anyone who enjoys a touch of madness. It’s had sell-out success in his native Palm Springs, and has been entertaining audiences since it first began. Erik Scott Romney will bring to life Broadway’s most iconic bad boys with charm, humor, and powerhouse vocals (and dance). A triple threat talent with a magnetic theatrical stage presence and background, Romney doesn’t go it alone… He’s backed by the musical duo—Chip Prince (keys/musical direction) and Bob Marino(drums/synth)—whose musical résumés boast Broadway credits and also make their homes on the West Coast. Together, they have created an experience that’s as unique as it is unforgettable.

Critics had this to say…

BroadwayWorld.com: “He (ROMNEY) is so talented he can command an audience just by showing up” … “and with his charm, quirky good looks, and incredible talent, he just needs an opportunity to show up and do what he does best. Wow the crowd. And this time he did it by chillin' like a villain.”… ”I don’t know where he’s going next, but I certainly hope someone recognizes this powerhouse of talent and gets him up on a much bigger stage soon. The theatre community in larger cities would do well by getting some eyes and ears on this guy. Are you listening, Broadway?”

Stage and Cinema: “If villains get the best songs, ERIK SCOTT ROMNEY proves they might also give the most captivating performances.”… ”It’s a clever concept—and even smarter in execution.”… ”his performance is both polished and playfully unhinged. He’s clearly done his homework—there’s respect here for the craft of villainy, not just its spectacle.”… ”His connection with the audience is immediate and sincere—even when he’s channeling Broadway’s most chilling characters.”… ”At its best, Broadway’s Bad Guys! isn’t just a revue—it’s a love letter to the complex characters we love to hate. And ROMNEY makes a strong case that maybe, just maybe, the dark side deserves a standing ovation.”

Don’t miss out on this very exciting debut at The Green Room 42 - for a one-night-only performance on October 14th at 7:00PM.
