ERIK SCOTT ROMNEY is a New York—based actor, dancer, and singer originally from California. He began his career as a dancer and has since gone from Balanchine-to-Broadway, building a versatile career with a strong foundation in musical theatre. Known for his charismatic stage presence, sharp comedic timing, and emotionally grounded performances, Erik is particularly drawn to character-driven roles that balance humor and heart.

His work blends commedia dell’arte, vaudeville, and classic musical theatre sensibilities with contemporary storytelling. He has appeared in regional theatres, concerts, benefit productions, and live performance events, including the recent debut of his one-man musical revue, Broadway’s Bad Guys!, a character-driven cabaret celebrating iconic villains from the musical theatre canon, showcasing his vocal versatility, character work, and comedic flair.

Favorite theater credits include, West Coast Regional Premieres: The Fantasticks Reimagined! (Mortimer “The Man Who Dies”), and Something Rotten! (Tom Snout); Regional Productions: Cabaret (The Emcee), The Wizard of Oz (Scarecrow/Cowardly Lion), Mel Brooks’ Young Frankenstein(Igor), Monty Python’s Spamalot (Patsy), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (William Barfée),  A Chorus Line (Mike), and West Side Story (Riff/Action). Television Credits: Glee (Season 1, Student/Principal Stand-in).
